New Restaurants Coming to Peninsula Town Center
As Some Close, Others Make Plans to Open in Exciting
Hampton Shopping, Dining and Entertainment Attraction
Hampton, Va. – There is always a churn in the retail market following the holiday season, and that is the case in Hampton Roads as 2012 begins.
Some stores and restaurants decide to leave a market while others move in or expand. At Peninsula Town Center in Hampton, Frank Beamer’s American Grill and JoJack’s Espresso Café have closed, but new dining offerings are taking their place. Saffron Indian Bistro, which has one location in the region at Virginia Beach Town Center, will open at PTC this winter under the name Monsoon Eclectic Modern Indian. It features a complete menu of authentic Indian fare, with some new “twists” according to owner Darshak Patel. “We are also excited to announce that Jimmy John’s, a very popular national submarine sandwich chain that has locations on the Southside but none on the Peninsula, is scheduled to open during the first quarter of 2012,” says Raymond Tripp, General Manager of Peninsula Town Center. “These great new restaurants are eager to be a part of our Peninsula Town Center family, and we look forward to adding many more exciting retailers and restaurant venues to our merchant mix this year.”
