(Virginia Beach, 06/19/09) Ned Williams and Debra Williams, veterans of the Hampton Roads commercial real estate industry, have formed Vector Real Estate Advisors to provide investors, lenders and owners of financially distressed and underperforming assets with commercial and investment real estate positioning and management, real estate development, local government advocacy, capital formation and litigation support.
To further assist its clients, Vector has joined seven nationally recognized senior level real estate practitioners with diverse capabilities to form a multi-regional alliance. They include John Baczewski and Francis Decker of Boston-based Real Estate Fiduciary Services (REFS); Bruce Fernald and Mark Griggs, principals of Black Diamond Capital Advisors in Atlanta, and Hunter Richardson of Richardson Development Group in Reston, Virginia, outside of Washington, D.C.
“This is truly an all star team of real estate veterans,” says Ned Williams, who has extensive experience in strategic positioning, litigation support, market and economic evaluation, mixed-use development programming and public sector strategies. “Our objective is to provide cost-effective workout solutions for any financial or operational challenge.”
According to Debra Williams, whose background is in acquisitions, capitalization, development, operations, asset management and disposition, the strength of the alliance is in its inter-disciplinary skill set. “Because we have such a diversity of competencies, we can provide clients with just the person or persons they need to manage challenged real estate or to dispose or repurpose it. Given the state of the economy, the need for this kind of hands-on, innovative assistance is great and will only grow.”
Debra Williams most recently spent over nine years as Director of Asset Management for L. M. Sandler & Sons, Inc., a major Southeast United States private land and commercial developer based in Virginia Beach. Ned Williams has served as Vice President and Managing Broker of commercial and investment real estate with William E. Wood and Associates, also in Virginia Beach. Along with Vector, REFS, Black Diamond and Richardson Development, other Alliance members include Robert Gray and Company, a provider of information services headquartered in Richmond and Lester & Associates, an Atlanta marketing- communications firm specializing in real estate.
“Our individual and collective services are available on a one-time or ongoing basis,” says Ned Williams. “We can focus on a specific project, augmenting the client’s internal staff or serve as in-house real estate team, managing an entire portfolio.”
