Fitness, Dining and Business Services at the Chamberlin Club
Non-residents can now enjoy The Chamberlin’s amenities through Club Memberships
Hampton, Va. – When The Chamberlin reopened its doors in 2008, the local community was thrilled about the historic landmark being brought back to life and eager to experience it themselves. At the time, its amenities were only available for residency, but due to overwhelming interest, the public can now enjoy The Chamberlin through Club Memberships.
“We had such an influx of locals who wanted to be a part of all The Chamberlin offers,” says Cassie Wellford, Marketing Director and Club Membership Coordinator for The Chamberlin. “That’s exactly why we decided to make Club Memberships available.”
Club Members can enjoy the Hygeia Fitness Club, Business Center, Guest Suite with no room fees at any of the nine waterfront special event venues, including the Chesapeake Dining Room, Rooftop Solarium, Officer’s Club and Piano Lounge, to name a few.
The Hygeia Fitness Club includes state-of-the-art cardio and strength training equipment, ongoing fitness classes, an indoor heated pool, lockers rooms and towel service.
The Guest Suite, is available exclusively to Club Members and their families. The Suite is a furnished two-bedroom historic waterfront suite with a fully equipped kitchen, cable and high-speed Internet, as well as housekeeping and room service.
There are no age requirements for Club Memberships, which start at $600 per year for individual members and $660 for families. Corporate Memberships can be offered as employee incentives, start at $4,000 per year. Additional membership options are available for small groups.
“The Chamberlin has so much to offer, not just to Chamberlin residents, but to the greater Hampton Roads area as a whole,” says Wellford. “We are so pleased to offer these amenities to the local public now... and best of all, nearly everything we have to offer is waterfront!”
Although The Chamberlin is located on the Fort Monroe Army base, it is available for non-military use. For more information about Club Memberships, please contact Cassie Wellford at (757) 637-7206 or cwellford@druckerandfalk.com.
"From conception of Peninsula Town Center, our vision has been to become an integral part of our community. In an area so rich in history and extraordinary leadership, the Mary's Park dedication was a shining example of Joel Rubin's ability to brilliantly bring this vision to life."
