Peninsula Town Center Announces 2009 Holiday Plans

Festivities to kick off following Coliseum Central Parade on Nov. 21

Hampton, Va. – Looking forward to its March 2010 grand opening, Peninsula Town Center will ring in the holiday season with festive family activities and entertainment beginning this Saturday, Nov. 21.

In its second year as title sponsor of Coliseum Central’s annual Holiday Parade, Peninsula Town Center’s float will carry Santa Claus and a live band into Town Square this Saturday morning, kicking off the holiday festivities that will take place every weekend between now and Christmas.

From 12 – 5 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday, families will be welcomed to Town Square (located behind Barnes and Noble) to enjoy visits and photos with Santa, as well as ongoing holiday musical entertainment.  These festivities will also take place on “Black Friday” (Nov. 27) and Christmas Eve (Dec. 24).

“We’re excited to create a holiday buzz at PTC,” says Raymond Tripp, General Manager of Peninsula Town Center.  “We’ve hosted many events this year at Town Square, and it’s been the perfect place for families to gather.”

The Coliseum Central Holiday Parade has been a signature event in Hampton for 11 years, and Peninsula Town Center is excited to play a major role again this year.
