RCG Sows the Seeds for Local Farm Market
When it comes to supporting a worthy cause, RCG knows how to pick ‘em.

This spring, as the Five Points Community Farm Market reopens in a new downtown Norfolk facility, RCG will assist with creating awareness for the organization’s new Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program on a pro bono basis.
The Farm Market’s CSA program, developed to support local farmers, will allow individuals to pledge purchases of fresh, local produce on a weekly basis. This not only enables farmers to better plan for their crops, but it will also create a steady customer base for the Farm Market.
RCG’s responsibility will be to spread the word about this program through local print and broadcast media outlets.

“We are excited to be a part of this effort to encourage Hampton Roads residents to appreciate the variety of produce that comes from this region,” says Sara Jo Rubin. “Being a Norfolk native, I really believe in the mission of this organization, and we are proud to support it.”
The new Farm Market, which opens May 3, will be located at 2500 Church Street and is a part of the Five Points Partnership, Inc., a non-profit organization in Norfolk. For more information, please visit: www.5ptsfarmmarket.org.
