What's in YOUR Cargo Pocket? RCG Concept Draws Media Interest

CINTAS Corporation, a national leader in uniform rental programs and long-time client of RCG’s, recently released a new line of retail-inspired, rentable cargo pants.

Because the design is so different from a typical work pant, the product quickly became known as the “Uniform That's Not So Uniform.”  Therefore, an attention-getting tool was needed to creatively spread the word to the appropriate audience - national trade publications.

RCG's suggestion, which CINTAS loved, was to design  a “Cargo Press Pocket” to hold press releases, a fact sheet, photos and “Top Story Ideas.”  RCG mailed it  to the Top 100 trade publications within CINTAS Corporation’s target industries. The result? Avid interest in CINTAS cargo pants from editors and reporters at nearly half of these publications.
